A colossal image of Garuda with his right hand raised above and left hand holding a snake. All his ornaments feature the motif of snake, including his hara (necklaces), keyura (armlets), kankana (bracelets) and mala (garland). A long snake with its head and tail twisted together is seen hanging from the body of Garuda. The curved nose of Garuda is chipped. On the top right and left corners of the panel are chakra (discus) and shankha (conch) respectively.
