A four-armed Mahishasuramardini holding a sakti (spear) in lower right hand and chakra (discus) and shankha (conch) in her upper right and left hands respectively. The lower left hand is holding the head of the demon Mahishasura who is emerging from the neck of the buffalo. The left leg of the deity is buried up to the knee in the body of the buffalo while the right leg is resting upon the back of the animal near the tail. The deity wears jatamukuta (matted crown), ratnakunala (earrings of gem), hara (necklace), keyura (armlets), and kankana (bracelets). The sculpture is worn out and also has been mended.
