A frieze depicting Matsya and Kalki. Matsya and Kalki (incarnations of Vishnu) are depicted in separate small niches on the right and left respectively. The Matsya incarnation has his lower right hand in abhaya mudra and lower left hand in danda hasta mudra, while the upper right and left hands hold chakra (discus) and shankha (conch) respectively. The Kalki incarnation is seated on a horse, with khadga (sword) and khetaka (shield) in his lower right and left hands respectively. The horse is seen decorated with mala (garland). On the left face of the panel is depicted Krishna as Kaliya Mardana, dancing on top of the snake demon Kali.
