A granite pillar from the shaft of which is depicted beautiful ornamental bracket in the form of a colossal and furious looking lion or a hippogryph rearing over an elephant. Both the pillar and the projecting vyala which is in round are carved out of a single block of stone. The front paws of the vyala, its tail and the body of the elephant below is all broken. The main pillar has three sides. The lower panel has a ghata pallava motif, a Venugopala, again a ghata pallava motif. The middle panel has depiction of Krishna and Vishnu. The topmost panel has possibly Krishna, Vitthala and ascetic in atibhanga posture.
