A sculpture of Vishnu in Ranganatha form. His two consorts, Sridevi and Bhudevi are seen seated near his feet. His head rests on a pillow and is resting on Ananta (snake), whose head is missing. Next to his right hand, on the pillow is seen chakra (discus) and his right elbow rests on an inverted padma (lotus). The feet of Vishnu rests on the thigh of Bhudevi. There is a padma pitha at the end of Vishnu’s feet. Vishnu’s crown and left hand, Sridevi’s head and right and left hands and Bhudevi’s right hand are broken. The faces of Vishnu and Bhudevi are chipped off. The sculpture has been mended from two pieces. The head of Bhudevi (Acc No. 1630) has been mended to the main body of the sculpture. A wooden piece has been attached to the front coils of Ananta for restoring the sculpture’s structure.
