A two armed standing Surya in samabhanga posture. Both the hands of the God are broken. The God is represented as standing in chariots the wheels of which is seen on either side of the pedestal. Two horses are shown in the middle of the pedestal. Near the feet of the god is the miniature representation of the charioteer Aruna. The God wears a long crown and elaborate jewellery on the body like haras (necklace), udarabandha (belly band), kundala (earrings), upavita (sacred thread), vanamala (garland of flower), katibandha (waistband), keyura (armlets), nupur (anklets) and urmika (toe rings). Urdhava pundra (Vaishnava emblem) mark is seen on the forehead of deity. Behind the head of the deity is a stella where the kirtimukha sign and four vyalas are depicted on either side of kirtimukha and shoulder of deity. On the right jamb of the stella, there is lady figure standing with hands in anjali mudra possibly usha or pratyusha.
